Every employer on the board carries a public marker: an AARP Employer Pledge signing, Age-Friendly Institute certification, or a federal 55+ hiring program.

Most job boards weren't built for you. This one was.

90%

of workers 50+ say age discrimination at work is common, per AARP research. We only list employers who put a public marker on the other side of that stat.

2×/year

we re-check every employer's marker and careers page. The lists we started from were last touched months ago; this board says when each row was last verified.

0

scraped listings. Every row is a real company with a real careers page — you apply direct, on the employer's own site. No middleman harvesting your data.

How we verify

"Age-friendly" means nothing without receipts. Each employer earns its row through at least one public, checkable marker.

  1. 1

    Public marker on file

AARP Employer Pledge signing (now the Employer Alliance), Age-Friendly Institute CAFE certification, or a named 55+ hiring program — each with a source we link.

  2. 2

    Live careers page

We link the employer's own careers site — always apply there. If a careers page dies, the row gets flagged on the next re-check.

  3. 3

    Roles worth asking for

We note the role types each employer actually hires for and the schedule flexibility they're known for — so you ask for the right job, not just any job.

  4. 4

    Re-checked on a schedule

Every marker is re-verified at least twice a year, and Weekly Kit subscribers get the fresh digest without re-searching anything.
